Invitation for Art Submissions from Local Artists

Submissions accepted beginning December 15, 2011

Submission deadline is 4:45PM, March 1, 2012

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) is seeking original art submissions to be adapted for the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival’s artwork for 2012. We believe engaging the talents of the art community in the Film Festival and possibly other Film Society events throughout the year benefits the entire local community.

The selected artwork will be used in the creation of a Festival poster, program, t-shirts, and other memorabilia and/or Film Society publicity. A picture of the artist and a biography will appear in the Festival program. The selected artwork will be auctioned at the Festival in November with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Rehoboth Beach Film Society.

This is a great opportunity for the Festival to benefit from local talents and for the selected artist to receive wonderful exposure.

Submission Criteria/Details

If you would like to make a submission for 2012, please deliver completed artwork to the RBFS office at 107 Truitt Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 between December 15, 2011 and 4:45PM, March 1, 2012 for consideration in 2011 events. If submitting a picture via email or a slide, etc. for consideration, the selection committee reserves the right to request delivery of the original artwork prior to making a final decision.

Selection will be made during March/April. It is possible the Film Society will be able to schedule a showing of all art submitted and will contact artists with further details regarding the event and the reclamation of unselected art.
