How to Submit Films
Entry Fees
The non-refundable handling fee for each work submitted is $25. A discounted fee of $20 is available for students. (Students, please enclose a photocopy of your current ID card.) To encourage early submissions, rates are $5 less if entry is received by June 1, 2010. Checks should be made payable to the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and must accompany the entry form and film submission.
Submissions

A completed entry form must accompany each work submitted, along with full payment.

All film submissions must be shipped prepaid and packed in proper containers to arrive at the Film Festival office no later than June 15, 2010.

Submissions must be labeled with the film title, running time and contact information (including name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number).

All film submissions must be in a VHS or DVD format. Both NTSC and PAL formats will be accepted.

Submissions will not be returned.

Selected films must be made available for Festival presentation in 35mm, DigiBeta (NTSC), Beta SP (NTSC), or professionally mastered DVD (NTSC).

Foreign language films must be made available with the original language soundtrack and English subtitles.

Films previously submitted to the Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) will not be considered (unless requested by RBFS).

Please do not send submissions in fiber-filled envelopes, as the dust damages tapes and VCR's.

To receive acknowledgment of receipt of your entry, enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope or postcard with your submission.

Films selected for screening will be notified in September. SORRY - ONLY THOSE SELECTED WILL BE NOTIFIED.

If a film is invited to participate in the Festival, the film must be shipped prepaid, insured and packed in proper containers.

The RBFS will be responsible for return shipping charges of films screened at the Festival. The RBFS will not pay for international shipping of domestic films.
Legal Stuff
The RBFS does not assume any liability for damage to prints due to improper containers or otherwise. All films in our possession will be insured against damage or loss while participating in the festival.
The RBFS is not responsible for any claim involving copyright, trademarks, credits or royalty infringements related to the work. Submission of an entry to this Festival signifies that the entrant understands, accepts and agrees to these conditions.
Materials of all submissions become the property of the RBFS, and can be used for review purposes and to promote the film and programs of the Society in all mediums including film, television, radio and the Internet.
Deadlines
To receive full consideration, entry forms, works, and fees must be received no later than June 15, 2010 (early deadline: June 1, 2010).

Student Film Award
Student-produced films may be eligible to enter the Annual Morris Fierberg Student Film Award competition.
