2009 Festival Tickets and Other Information

Dates
Wednesday, November 11 – Sunday, November 15
Theaters
All films will be screened at the Movies at Midway complex, in the Midway Shopping Center on Highway One across from the Super Fresh, just north of Rehoboth Beach.
Scheduling Your Films
When selecting films to see, please make sure there is at least 20 minutes from the ending of one film until the beginning of the next film as you are required to exit through the exterior doors and re-enter at the front of the building as per Delaware State Fire Marshal regulations.
Ticket Sales
Pre-Festival: Ticket sales take place at the RBFS Office (Please have your current RBFS membership card present)

Contributing Director, Director, and Executive Producer members are eligible to purchase tickets during the Pre-Festival sales period (Oct 26 – Nov 6) at the RBFS office (107 Truitt Ave, Rehoboth Beach). Ticket sales hours are 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.

Associate Producer, Film Buff, Student members, and the general public are eligible to purchase tickets during the Festival except for Locals Night (see below).
During the Festival: Ticket sales take place at the Festival Box Office in the Big Tent.

Contributing Director, Director, Executive Producer, and Associate Producer members may purchase tickets for the entire Festival beginning 8:00 AM, Thursday, November 12, 2009.

Film Buffs and Student members may purchase tickets for films being screened that day, starting at 8:00 AM, Thursday – Sunday. (On Thursday, tickets for Thursday films may be purchased; On Friday, tickets for Friday films, etc.)

The general public may purchase tickets for films being screened that day, starting at 9:00 AM, Thursday – Sunday. (On Thursday, tickets for Thursday films may be purchased; On Friday, tickets for Friday films, etc.)
Ticket sales policy: In order to help ensure a more equitable distribution of tickets and greater access to films for all attendees, the following policies apply to all ticket sales during the festival:

RBFS individual members may purchase (2) tickets per film title.

RBFS couple members may purchase (4) tickets per film title.

Non-members may purchase two tickets per film title on the day of the screening only.
Box Office Location
Located behind the Midway Shopping Strip in the Big Tent. Access is from the parking lot behind the stores, or via the "cut-through" between the Duron Paint store and JavaByte C@fe.
Box Office Schedule
Wednesday: 2:30 PM – till the start of the last film screening. (Note: tickets will be sold for Wednesday screenings only.)
Thursday – Sunday: 8:00 AM for RBFS members and 9:00 AM for the general public. The Box Office will close at the start of the last film screening on each day.
Ticket Prices
A separate ticket must be purchased for each film. [Please note tickets are non-refundable]

Exchange Fee
There is a $1.00 processing fee for all ticket exchanges if you decide to change your screening time or film selection.
Locals Night
Beginning Nov 2, Associate Producers, Film Buffs, Student members, and the general public may purchase tickets at the RBFS office for Wednesday, November 11 films only. The terms of the Ticket Sales Policy (listed above) apply to purchases for Locals Night.
Priority Seating
Certain membership and sponsor levels are entitled to priority seating as a corresponding benefit. Please respect the policy of reserving a seat for you and one guest only. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Becoming a Film Society Member
If you are not a member, you may easily join the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and start enjoying your benefits right away by renewing online (click here), completing a membership form and mailing it with your dues to the Film Society Office, registering in person at the Film Society Office, or registering at the Membership Booth in the Big Tent during the festival.
Food
Enjoy food and beverages in our Lounge in the Big Tent throughout the festival. This is a great place to relax, meet new friends, and share information about the great films you’ve seen!
Recycling
The Festival will be recycling materials in the Big Tent. Please help our effort by disposing of recyclables in the appropriate recycling containers. Thank you.
Merchandise
Inventory is limited so don’t wait to buy this year’s Festival souvenirs. Take advantage of this opportunity to purchase quality merchandise at reasonable prices for upcoming holiday gifts.
Payment Options
Cash, Visa, or MasterCard are accepted as payment for ticket sales, membership and merchandise. Checks are not accepted. Cash payment only at the Beverage Booth please.
Theater House Rules

Please understand that the Management of the Movies at Midway will not allow backpacks, large bags, recording devices, or beverages of any kind into the theater. To avoid potential inconveniences, please refrain from bringing extra baggage.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal requires all audience members to exit each theater through the exterior door, not the hallway entrance. Compliance is required by all regardless of the weather, Film Society membership level, or the starting time of your next film. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Theater Accessibility
Elevators are available for assistance to the upstairs screening room. Ask any theater employee for directions to the elevator.
Lost & Found
If you’ve misplaced your glasses, think you left a sweater on a Theater chair, or you found keys in the parking lot, please go to the Lost & Found box at the Information Booth in the Big Tent. All discovered materials will be kept at this location.
