Nanny McPhee, a magic nanny, is based on the popular Nurse Matilda books by Christianna Brand. The recently widowed Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) can't control his naughty, seven children who have driven away seventeen nannies. Great-Aunt Adelaide (Angela Lansbury) tells Cedric he must be married by the end of the month or she’ll separate the children. When a mysterious voice tells Cedric to hire Nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson), she suddenly arrives at the Brown home. With Nanny McPhee’s special powers, the children begin to see startling consequences of their behavior. Can the children be tamed? Does Mr. Brown find the perfect wife? Come enjoy the fantasy as you laugh your way through the film. [2005, Runtime: 97 min, Rated PG]
