Intern Program
The Film Society provides supervised intern opportunities for students and adults wanting to acquire work experience.
Intern hours: Monday – Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Some evening or weekend hours may be required
The RBFS is very flexible about schedules. There is no specific weekly requirement.
Please note that Internships are unpaid positions.
Intern Opportunities

Assist with maintaining an independent film library.

Assist with composing and distributing press releases.

Assist with managing print traffic of film submissions.

Assist with production of newsletter.

Assist with managing membership database of 1,100+.

Assist with coordinating annual fundraising event.

Assist with special projects as appropriate

Assist with film screening process to determine entrees for film festival
Skills Required

Database experience (Access software)

Microsoft Publisher experience

Ability to work independently

Ability to demonstrate initiative
