Programs

Mission

The mission of the Rehoboth Beach Film Society is to promote cinematic arts and provide education and cultural enrichment for our community. As such, the Film Society screens films that cover a broad scope of issues and subjects. The Film Society does not assume a political, religious, or philosophical position on any film. The Board and staff recognize that not everyone will agree with all film choices but will appreciate the opportunity to view films not typically available in non-metropolitan areas.

The focus of Journeys in Art History Series is to introduce the works of history’s greatest painters and provide opportunities to view blockbuster art exhibitions from galleries worldwide.

The Metropolitan Opera | LIVE in HD
is presented in live simulcast by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, in partnership with the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation at the Cape Henlopen High School theater.

National Theater Live

Special Screenings
include distinctive screenings and unique opportunities for audiences.

    

Student Film Award
(Morris and Roslyn Fierberg Student Film Award) recognizes the outstanding work of a student film director.

  

What Makes Us Tick?
explores the mysteries of human behavior through film and discussions led by local mental health professionals.

    

Women’s Film Series
held on Thursday evenings during the month of March – in honor of Women’s History Month.

    

Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival
